Notes - Yehuda was born and raised in Ostrowiec, Poland by a well established middle class family. He worked as a rail freight agent and thus supported his six children, including Golda Borenztain. He died in a Nazi gas chamber at Auschwitz on the second night of Rosh Hashanah of 1944.
