  • Notes
    • Albert, nicknamed Berber, was the youngest son of Jacques Azoulai. Berber was one of the main members of the Egyptian communist party, along with the famous Henri Curiel. Unfortunately he spent several years in prison as a result of his politics. After his imprisonment, with his health already quite deteriorated, he was exiled to France and taken in by his brother David. He passed away in Paris not much longer after arriving there.
